Olha Simoroz is an alumna of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Youth Ambassadors Program (2024–2025), a community leader with master’s degrees in political science (University of Montreal, Canada) and philosophy (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine). She has experience in public relations, community development, and youth engagement.
While living in Canada since 2022, Olha has organized academic, social, and community projects, including initiatives for newly arrived Ukrainian youth in the provinces of Quebec. She brings her experience of active civic engagement from Ukraine, where she has been involved in social initiatives since 2014.
For her, volunteering is an integral part of the “Ukrainian code” — a shared value that builds a conscious and resilient identity. She advocates a strategic approach with a people-centered perspective in volunteering to promote sustainability and strengthen community engagement.
