Olesia Luciw-Andryjowycz is a Registered Nurse with a Master’s of Science in Administration Degree. Olesia works full time for the Government of Alberta. She is a 1st Generation Ukrainian Canadian, who is actively engaged in the Ukrainian Canadian Community. She is a lifelong member of the Ukrainian Youth Association (CYM) serving as a Counsellor, Vice-President/ President and Director for many years.
Olesia has been serving as President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Alberta Provincial Council for the last 6 years. UCC:APC is the voice of Alberta’s Ukrainian community. The Congress brings together under one umbrella all the provincial and local Ukrainian Canadian organizations. In addition, Olesia has held the position of Vice President/President: Ukrainian Canadian Women League Edmonton Branch, and is currently serving on the Alberta Council of the Ukrainian Arts (ACUA) Board of Directors.
Olesia is also a member Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies (CIUS) Advisory Board and the Canada Ukraine Foundation (CUF). She also served on the Advisory Council on Alberta-Ukraine Relations for the Government of Alberta for the last 6 years.
